Amber Naslund, or @AmberCadabra as she is known on Twitter, coauthored “The NOW Revolution” (with Jay Baer) which details how businesses can get faster, smarter, and more social. In this video interview, she offers her take on the role of social media in B2B (business-to-business) marketing. LinkedOC featuring Amber Naslund
Amber Naslund was in Orange County to speak at another high-profile LinkedOC event hosted by Bryan Elliott. Chapman University was also represented with diligent student volunteers Matt Oliver, Eli Ala, and Brock Morton. In her talk, Amber stressed that social media will become more of a skill that most employees should master as opposed to today’s situation where social media is a specific job for certain employees who “do” social media. This development is part of the overall direction toward businesses becoming more social both internally and externally. Amber also emphasized how businesses should better appreciate the value that the individual networks that employees can bring to a company. Amber Naslund has a recent past as Vice President of Social Strategy at social media monitoring company Radian6 before starting up her current company SideraWorks.
